Statement of Faith
Being "Lutheran," our congregation accepts the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther which can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone.
Grace Alone: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9
Faith Alone: "You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." Galatians 3:26,27
Scripture Alone: "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24
